1984; an established fan in the community is on to something big. He’s got a god complex and it’s a gun in his hand. Everything for sale. “Space travel?” “Yeah.” “The house is haunted.” “It didn’t say that when we bought it.” “Better do something about it.” “Yeah.” So we took him away. He doesn’t mind the sound of our machine. Doesn’t mind that we take our time getting off the ground. Stoned ghost on the ship. Poltergeist in the pit. “We come well-equipped…” “...for space travel.” “Yeah.” “We’re supersonic.” “If there’s a problem, we’ll resolve it.” “And then we’ll be enthusiastic.” “Yeah.” Two of us are Gemini And two of us can play the drums I don’t want to burst your bubble. None of us are having fun. Sympathize with D.I.Y. yet, criticize what’s coming up. It’s meant to be The Adventures of Bad Gravity. To Be Continued…. End Scene.

Steady incline. Hover above the ground. You’ll think that we died. I would implore you to take a look around But you’re the one who hides behind your faces’ phone. You seem impressed That your favorite scene is flourishing right before your open eyes. Bad Gravity is here now. Write. Roll the dice. Strategize. You never sacrifice. Back again. Mad at the pen. Feeling compromised. I’ll never participate in sponsorship Unless it pays my bills. I’ll never anticipate the next big thing And try to seek those thrills. Remember when we used to date and make mistakes? Did you learn from them? You try to communicate with reasoning And they all give in. They all give in.

It’s right in your face, Breakfast in space Keeps you warm. Keeps you satisfied with the goals ahead. All the shows we pacified; faces turning red. “I think people like our band. All’s we have left to do is eat these UFO pancakes. So hey bud, pass me the eggs. We’ve got a big day ahead. Gotta find a record label. Gotta get a record deal.” “Maybe at the show tonight There will be a guy Who knows a guy That owns a record label.” ***Guitar Solo*** “You think they’ll like that?” “Assuming it’s the best-case scenario.” “Well we’ve got to act like we don’t give a shit.” I burnt the toast again. I needed that for vitamins and nutrients. The Goodest Boy ate all of the PB & J. So much for starting my day the right way… Been a good while since I’ve had good coffee. I’ve been eating astronaut shit out the bag. Miss the caffeine, now I’m addicted to space grass. It makes people wanna dance, And buy all our shirts. I know that it’s true. The EP will be on vinyl soon. So shove your mouth full of grits. You gonna take that fuckin’ hit? You gonna buy my fuckin’ merch? Cause we really need the gas, man. We don’t even have a band van. All we’ve got is our intuition, And you don’t learn that shit in church camp.

If you’ve never felt the joys of having a good boy standing by your side, well… You’re missing out. Yeah, you’re missing out. It’s like swallowing the god-damn sun. And when he dreams, I’ll bet he thinks of me. T.G.B. on tour with us, Now that’s what I call a band mascot. Sound-checking in the milky way... Make sure to feed him every day. If you think he’s gonna run away It doesn’t matter, cause he’ll be okay. He’s the best that we could ask for. There aren’t many things that make us smile anymore. Yeah, we’ve got a lot to grieve about. And I get scared every time I remember He’ll die too soon. Everyone you love will die too soon. From 9-to-5, he sits all alone Like a submissive adult trapped in a shitty day-job. He guards the ship when we’re not home. Sniffing around. Chewing on bones. It’s time to go, he’s the GPS. Push a button on his collar and put him to the test. He knows not the weight of reality. Happy to be here standing next to me. Does he even know that I got a tattoo of him? Does he even know what a tattoo is?

I seek appeal. You steal my meal. See progression systems unfold Behind you, There’s something I’d like to see. Behind me, There’s envy. Gig is done. Over now. Underwhelm. Cry for help. Episode. Unreleased. I just want you to notice me. But I can’t relate to anything you do Or anyone you meet. Reassurance-Simulator Defense. Reject courage into emulation. No one’s paying attention to me. You’re not even listening. Standing in the back of the coat-check line. Practice every day, but we argue all the time. Think outside the box ‘til you cross over the line. Project everything from your state of mind. Open-casket. Never thought about it. Will I leave it finished for assessment? Will they pay attention to me? Simulation’s obsolete. No one ever told me that the price is never free. No one ever told me that they want to be like me. Standing in the back of the coat-check line. Practice every day, but we argue all the time. Think outside the box ‘til you cross over the line. Project everything from your state of mind. Doing everything that they want me to be. Advertising things that they want me to see. Making the decisions that they want me to feel. Threatening existence with the goal of overcoming something that you thought you couldn’t even feel.

I have a role-model. He’s the kind of person I don’t want to be. He’s the Negative Me. You can buy him on Amazon Prime. You can pay another 60 dollars for a 3-month warranty. He sold his dads’ brand new car. He smiles when he plays guitar, But he doesn’t play it from his heart. No, he doesn’t play it from his heart. (In the sun, in the sun,) He sits on his Walmart half-pipe. (In the sun, in the sun,) And sips an American beer. When he sits inside his jar, He’ll eat another protein bar, And wish upon a shooting star. Privilege will get you far. Trophy case to disregard Made up plastic, spray-paint gold. Is he dumb? Is he genuine? Does he do what he’s told now? Does he do what he’s told? Is he dumb? Is he genuine?

Learn to skate, or learn to die. But I’m not that good, so I don’t know why These punks make fun of me And I’m banned from the skate community. I’ve been playing Tony Hawk since the day I was born But when I go to skate parks I’m just ignored. The only problem is I can’t land on the board. Why the fuck can’t I land on the god-damn board? I bought a copy of Thrasher Magazine Now I’m part of the lingo, I’m part of the scene. I hate cops and I want tattoos. Green Day sucks, not Blink-182. I can’t Ollie yet, but I’m getting it down. Trying to get sponsored from this shop downtown, So you take car, I take board. I deserve some kind of award. Cruel boarders Destructo Disk

“You don’t even surf here!” Process the terms. “You don’t even surf here!” Language is the barrier. “You don’t even surf here!” I don’t even know you. You don’t even know my name. So why complain? I used to be like you… “You don’t even surf here!” What could that mean? Your words are unclear. “You don’t even surf here.” But I don’t really get your gang control. Your complicated system’s been exposed. Dividing us further from ourselves Until everybody’s something else. I know you feel it too. You expose you. Boo-hoo-hoo! And tonight you’ll wake up from a scary dream While I’m having fun. You’ve got your words. You’ve got your insults in your mouth. You call it a gun. You brought a gun to a knife fight. “You don’t even surf here!”

I wake up every morning, check my bank account. I’ve got tons of Zeroes in negative amounts. I’ve got seven credit cards; two dollars in change. I’m eating all my meals out of vending machines. I’m swimming in debt and speeding tickets. My wallet is empty, I’m a national threat. Call an ambulance. Someone call the police. You never told me how unfair a bank account could be. I hope you choke on your tongue. You’re the CEO, I’m the victim. And you know you can’t sleep at night, Because you’re too busy laughing, Too busy taking away my income. I never thought this would happen to me, And to think that people call this place The Land of The Free. I’m packing my bags, going to run, Somewhere far away, where no one can hear me scream. I’m stealing paychecks; Investing in death. My gas tank is empty, I’m a national threat. Go call my parents. Never call the police. You never told me how unfair democracy could be. I hope you choke on your tongue. You’re the CEO, I’m the victim. And you know you can’t sleep at night, Because you’re too busy laughing, Too busy taking away. You know.

Tell me why I don’t feel satisfied. Tell me why my stomach is eating itself. Tell me why I can’t seem to reply. Tell me why I can’t sit still. And what’s the point of getting high every day? I’m so annoyed. Tell me why things go my way. Tell me why I don’t feel good enough Tell me why my wallet is eating itself. Tell me why I wonder what it’s like to die. Tell me why you believe in Hell. And what’s the point of getting high every day? I’m so annoyed. Tell me why things go my way. Go my way.

MOON GLOOM 02:03
I’m doing this for me, but I’m thinking of you. The chemicals in the sky remind me what to do. “Repeat after me, A-I-O-U.” “Hey, I owe you.” So what is a path? What makes a man? Why do we compare such themes? You take them for granted, All the things you had. If you don’t like the sound of my voice, What do you think of my energy? What do you think about? I think about inner capacity. I think of paradox, And the way that it flips something to nothing in the deck of the cards. In the den of resurrection, This is where we reside.

NIGHTWITCHES 06:40
It’s darker in the sky than on the ground. She gave the switch a flip without a sound. The trophy case was closer than I thought. You don’t know who you’re selling to. It’s not fair to compare the value, And treat your peers like they feed underneath you. I feel swell. I’ve been Hell. I’m dancing on tombstones, Laughing. Our plane is going down. The air is cold as we release it to the town. Death for breakfast in negative space. Our nights were not a waste. But I feel so alone. All of my negatives get overgrown. Expectation; My old friend Deceives me once again. Still compare myself. Gotta feel better than someone else. Let it break me down. I didn’t look around And I’ll hold it against myself Exploitation of our wealth. I’ve gotta confess the truth. It’s only a matter of time. The torch is burning out. I want to learn to love myself. Go and tell your friends That we went and died again. We tried our best. The competition never ends. I want to be a part of it. This is our statement. What you see is what you get. I never give the best of it. Yeah, like I know what progress is Like you know yourself too When you reach a conclusion It will all still matter. I’m missing. My instincts have fallen from the ceiling. I’m getting off the ground, And finding my way back into town. Our plane is going down. The air is cold as we release it to the town. Death for breakfast in negative space. Our life is not a waste.

“No guidance in space. Removed from our place Floating alone Unfamiliar face” Go back in time Find a new place. Reload your save. You can start again. It’s okay to be brave. I found meaning In everything. Synergy In Gravity. Don’t be afraid of liminal space You’re just a speck of the human race. “I tend to overthink about it. I think about it all the time.” Go back in time Find a new place. Reload your save. You can start again. It’s okay to be brave. You might find a new face is not so strange after all. Not afraid to keep going. Don’t be afraid of liminal space You’re just a speck of the human race. “I think about it all the time.”
